LANCE KING

Lance King grew up on the road in a way, his parents moved often for work and separated by the time he was 8, Milwaukee, WI, Chicago, IL, Portland, OR, British Columbia and then Minnesota by the age of 14.

Lance had wanted to be an Olympic speed skier, but that all changed in 10th grade when a bass playing buddy noticed Lance was always singing with whatever was on the stereo in the car and invited him to jam in his garage band.

Since then, Lance has made music his life, touring/performing and recording. Lance started playing paying shows at the age of 18, started his own designer record label in 1990 (Nightmare Records) and eventually signed with several other record companies in Germany, Japan, Brazil, Korea and even Russia. Lance has hosted a syndicated radio show, played international stages and lent his creative voice to over 30 albums to date with bands from the US, Denmark, The Netherlands, Great Britain, Germany and Brazil.

The Last 10 years Lance has been a Martial Arts and Vocal instructor and has been creating music under his own name as a songwriter. He cite’s his early influences by the giants of his youth (Queen, RUSH, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Boston, Journey, Kansas, Styx and Van Halen).
Lance’s gifted voice and love of performing live is what drew Arch Allies attention to this regional Twin Cities vocal legend.
